Nashville Flood

When Katrina hit New Orleans the country was overdosed with news coverage of the devastation, looting, killings, and "how the nation was going to pay for it".

But has anyone said anything about Nashville's flood?

Where's the government help now?

I'm moving to Mexico

Dear President Obama and speaker Pelosi

I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me.

We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. Into Mexico, and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements.

We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws.

I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that I'm on my way over?

Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.

3. Please print all Mexican government forms in English.

4. I want my grandkids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.

5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history.

6. I want my grandkids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.

7. Please plan to feed my grandkids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.

9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico , but, I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.

10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.

11. I plan to fly the U.S. Flag from my house top, put U S. Flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.

12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.

13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.

14. I want to receive free food stamps.

15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies.

16. I'll need Income tax credits so although I don't pay Mexican Taxes, I'll receive money from the government.

17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Gov't pays $4,500 to help me buy a new car.

18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all his people who walk over to the U.S. from Mexico . I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

Thank you so much for your kind help. You're the man!!!

Obama admits it

It is time that we stood up for out country and take back control of our future. He needs to be removed from office NOW! Before he does any more damage.
Have you noticed that he has not denied any of the allegations we have thrown at him?
This video makes me sick to my stomach and very angry that we allowed this to continue. Stand up with me and take control before we have no choice but to follow him into hell.

IndyMac Boys Get a Sweet Deal

How can common people figure out what is going on but the government can't see it? They all need to voted out of office and we need to start over. Every government contract should be investigated by someone other than the government to ensure that there is no "extra" or "backside" shit going on.

Illegal Amesty is on it's way out!

Friends of ALIPAC,

We have exciting news to share from the election results coming in.

We are very pleased to announce that despite President Obama's strong support, US Senator Arlen Specter bit the dust in PA tonight!

Specter has been a powerhouse in the US Senate for 30 years! He changed from Republican to Democrat last year after Republican voters got mad at him for being a RINO (Republican In Name Only) just like Senators McCain and Graham.

The Associated Press is reporting that Specter's loss is a defeat for President Obama.

Specter rejected by Pa. Dems in bid for 6th term
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100519/ap_on_el_se/us_pennsylvania_senate

Specter was defeated in the Democratic primary by US Representative Joe Sestak, who is an amnesty supporter as well.

However, seeing some of the biggest illegal alien Amnesty supporters in the US Senate like Bennett and Specter fall is encouraging news for our political revolution! We can hope, pray, and work hard to make sure McCain will be joining them in the unemployed category soon!

Here are Specter's horrible scores at our friends NumbersUSA where he has a career score of D on our issue.
http://www.numbersusa.com/content/my/congress/682/reportcard/RECENT/

The mighty are falling as Americans of all walks of life focus on throwing those in Washington that have betrayed us DOWN!

We salute the people of Pennsylvania tonight for throwing Arlen Specter out of office. It was long overdue!

We are getting word of incumbents going down in many locations across America tonight.

Remember our cry folks!

Revolution NOW America!

Dance on my Flag?

When I was a child I used to wonder why so many people seemed to be racist. I don't consider myself a racist. I treat everyone equally. Until they show their true colors. However, the more I see the more I turn into one. It's very sad and I'm embarrassed to admit it but I've begun to profile Mexicans.
If they want to come to my country and become a law abiding, constructive U.S. citizen and I welcome them. But they must learn the language, obey our laws and get a job. Become a contributing part of this country don't just take... you have to give.
It is not my responsibility to feed clothe and house you and your all your family.
I'm proud to be an American and I will stand and defend my country from people like you. How dare you come here and demand that we take care of you and that we learn to communicate with you and then dance on our flag.
There will be an American Revolution. And when it happens you better be prepared because we're not fighting for another countries rights.. we're fighting for ours. And WE WILL NOT LOSE!

A Mosque at ground Zero?

Well, its official, we have all lost our minds.
>
> I read about this last December, plans for a mosque at Ground Zero, but like a fool, I assumed that New Yorkers would never let this come to pass. A mosque just 600 feet from where the World Trade Center towers once stood. I thought to myself; no way will New York or anyone with a heart or soul, not to mention just plain common sense, ever allow a mosque to be built anywhere near Ground Zero. But, as I said, I am a fool.
>
> The project of a community center /mosque is being proposed by two organizations, the American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA) and their sister organization, the Cordoba Initiative. This past Wednesday night they made their presentation to the Community Board of lower Manhattan (CB1). Twelve people sit on the board and would you like to guess what the final vote was? Get ready to grab a barf bag … the 12 members voted unanimously to support the project. Yes, it’s not a typo, it was unanimous, all were in favor and, to give you an idea of how excited the board members were, they applauded during the presentation.
>
> In an article in the New York Daily News on Thursday, retired FDNY Deputy Chief Jim Riches said,
>
> "I realize it's not all of them, but I don't want to have to go down to a memorial where my son died on 9/11 and look at a mosque. If you ask me, it's a religion of hate." Deputy Chief Riches lost his son Jim, a firefighter, on 9/11.
>
> Also quoted in the article was Rosemary Cain of Massapequa, L.I., whose son, firefighter George Cain, 35, was killed in the 2001 attacks, she called the project,
>
> "a slap in the face. I think it's despicable. That's sacred ground," said Cain, "How could anybody give them permission to build a mosque there? It tarnishes the area."
>
> The mosque would be located in a former Burlington Coat Factory outlet which is just 2 blocks or 600 feet from where the World Trade Towers once stood. I find it ironic that the building has been mostly abandoned since 9/11 because the landing gear of one of the hijacked airplanes crashed through its roof.
>
> The leader, and co-founder of the project, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, paid $4.85 million dollars for the building in December last year.
>
> In a Fox NY channel 5 interview on Thursday, a 9/11 firefighter Tim Brown described the mosque project as,
>
> "a Trojan horse being rolled into our most sacred ground". He asked the mosque's imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf, where did Rauf get the reported $4.85 million in cash to purchase the building?
>
> Needless to say, that question was never answered in full; Rauf would say only that the cash came from “members of the community.”
>
> Tim Brown is a former NY firefighter and one of the few 9/11 survivors to survive the collapse of both WTC towers. He was also a first responder to the 1993 WTC bombing, also executed by a group of Islamic terrorists. He is the founder of the website thebravest.com.
>
> I spoke with Matt Dunning, the Associate Editor of the Tribeca Trib newspaper on the telephone on Sunday. The Tribeca Trib is a monthly newspaper that covers lower Manhattan. Unlike most publications today, they actually report the news. Mr. Dunning explained to me that they “do not even do editorials for that reason”, they report on facts. He was at the CB1 board meeting Wednesday night. We spoke about his article on the meeting and I must say I was shocked when Dunning told me that “not one person from the community came to the meeting was in opposition. If someone had been, we would have reported it.”
>
> This was a public board meeting, and no one who lives or works in this area even showed up to voice his or her opinion that they opposed the mosque? Have we actually arrived at the point in this country where forgiveness or ignorance overrides sense and responsibility?
>
> Back on December 16th, 2009, in an article written shortly after the purchase of the building, Youssef M. Ibrahim wrote the following in Hudson NY,
>
> “As a former New York Times and Wall Street Journal correspondent, and as a New York Sun columnist who covered Islamic fundamentalism extensively overseas and in the USA, I find the facts oddly lacking. The story as reported fails to answer, and avoids asking, so many pertinent questions.
>
> The source of money matters as a significant part of the hundreds of mosques being built and already erected in this country double up as cultural Islamic centers for distributing literature-- Islamist propaganda in fact—from Bay Ridge Brooklyn to Detroit, and for schools growing Muslim minorities. They house Imams of unknown origin and education, many of whom do not speak a word of English but preach in Arabic and Urdu -- radical messages, it often turns out.
>
> As a reporter familiar with the Arab communities of the USA, I doubt the faithful fork out all that money for mega mosques, and if they did, the mayor’s office should prove it, not merely accept someone’s say so. It is an established fact that a significant percentage of the mosques built in the USA in the past two decades are receiving a disproportionate amount of their funds not only from the Saudis, but also the UAE, Qatar and Iran -- all problematic Islamists activist nations. The government just discontinued work on a major Iranian-funded mosque and center in New York City, which had operated under the radar since the days of the good old Shah of Iran under the auspices of the Pahlavi Foundation, and has been owned since 1979 by the Mullahs of Iran.
>
> The context here is that 15 of the 19 perpetrators of the attacks -- on the very site where this new mosque shall rise -- came from Saudi Arabia.”
>
> He ended his article with “One would hope for a follow-up story or stories, and that New York City and its citizens at least ask harder questions, rather than submit to being misled in the interest of political correctness.”
>
> The estimated cost for the 13 story building is $100 million dollars. According to page 8 of the ASMA website financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009 they have “temporarily restricted net assets” as follows:
>
> UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) $ 53,664
>
> MDG3 Fund (Millennium Development Goals) $481,942
>
> Hunt Alternatives Fund $15,000
>
> Carnegie Corporation of N.Y. $ 144,752
>
> The Rockefeller Brothers Fund $50,000
>
> Qatar government fund $576,312
>
> Interestingly, I had no trouble locating all of the groups as linked above, except for the Qatar government fund, which donated over half a million dollars to ASMA in 2009.
>
> The fact that the UN has a hand in this really comes as no surprise given that just last week they embraced the Islamic Republic of Iran by allowing them to become a member of The Commission on the Status of Women, as I wrote about in my article “Even if it were a joke, it wouldn’t be funny”.
>
> Also, according to the same financial statement, on page 10 of the report they list their “Expenditure report for the period October 13, 2008 to June 30, 2009” leaving ASMA with a balance of $988,586.00 when converted from Euros to Dollars using the conversion noted on the same page.
>
> So, assuming this “independent” audit is correct they ended their fiscal year on 6-30-09 with a balance of almost 1 million dollars. I wonder then, where is the money for a 100 million dollar mosque coming from?
>
> As Youssef M. Ibrahim wrote in his article “It is an established fact that a significant percentage of the mosques built in the USA in the past two decades are receiving a disproportionate amount of their funds not only from the Saudis, but also the UAE, Qatar and Iran -- all problematic Islamists activist nations.”
>
> Does anyone have the sense to connect the dots and follow the money trail? Is it not enough that the terrorists who were responsible for 9/11 are from the same country that is funding mosques all over our country, that we have to allow them to fund the building of a mosque in the very location where they committed the most heinous act in American history?
>
> Using this analogy, had the bomb last week in Times Square actually exploded, we would be planning a mosque in Times Square right now. Have we lost our minds so much that we have moved to erecting monuments to perpetrators and not victims?
>
> Currently, in the U.S. there are over 1200 mosques, with at least one in each state. I don’t see the need to build a new mosque at the same location where nearly 3000 people were murdered by terrorists who followed an Islamic ideology that will be preached inside this new one.
> --
> definition of a conservative is someone who doesn't waste ammunition.
>
> "I’m a man of peace but not at any price," a great line from a western.
>
> don't mistake my kindness and civility for weakness.
>
> So, how's that whole "hopey changey" thing workin' out for ya?
>
> You can avoid evil, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding evil.
>
> "The malice of the wicked is reinforced by the weakness of the virtuous" --British Prime Minister Winston Churchill (1874-1965)
>
> the bottom line is the facts are the facts and the truth is the truth, i will not alter either to fit your distorted sense of reality
>
> "From now on, when you hear Obama speak, try replacing 'let me be clear' with 'let me lie to you,' and see if it makes more sense." --columnist Jacob Sullum
>
> I’m pushing a campaign to call Obimbo and his ilk anti-freedom, anti-liberty, anti-constitutionalists to identify them for what they are. In my opinion calling them socialists or communists or fascists or Nazis, which they are, doesn't resonate enough with the average American. But calling them anti-constitutional makes them sound exactly like what they are, anti-American. It is specific and definitive enough to make it stick. It is also distinctly American. Will you support me in this and help it go viral? I’d like to have everyone wear white shirts on Thursdays to show support for the constitution.

Pedro Marin

Georgia has a major problem. One of their State Representatives - Pedro Marin - is asking for all the Spanish/Mexican people to register to vote so they can squash the new Arizona SB 1070 law. He didn't tell them that they have to be a citizen to vote. So in doing so he's creating and supporting voting fraud. He needs to be fired.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.

3. Please print all Mexican government forms in English.

9. I do plan to get a car and drive inMexico , but, I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.

Thank you so much for your kind help. You're the man!!!

God Bless America

PART OF THE PROBLEM

Think about this:
If you don't want to SPEAK UP ABOUT THIS for fear of offending someone,
YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM!

Will we still be the Country of choice and still be America "the land of the free" if we continue to make the changes forced on us by people from other countries who came to live in America because it is the Country of Choice?

Think about it!

All I have to say is, when will Someone do something about
MY RIGHTS?
We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not
offend anyone, that I am now being offended.
But it seems no one has a problem with that.

"In God We Trust" is our national motto. T
his is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan.
We adopted this motto because Christian men and women -
on Christian principles - founded this nation,
and this is clearly documented.
It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools.
It is Time for America to Speak up!

THIS IS MY COUNTRY - IF IT IS YOUR COUNTRY, SPEAK UP!
I am not against immigration - I welcome everyone to our country,
just come through like everyone else
Get a sponsor; or VISA
have a place to lay your head;
get a job;
pay your taxes;
live by the rules;
and
LEARN THE LANGUAGE
as all other immigrants have in the past
and
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Hats off to Charlie Daniels!

HATS OFF TO CHARLIE DANIELS....AT LEAST HE HAS THE COURAGE TO SPEAK HIS MIND!!!

I don't know how everybody else feels about it, but to me I think Hispanic people in this country, legally or illegally, made a huge public relations mistake with their recent demonstrations.

I don't blame anybody in the world for wanting to come to the United States of America, as it is a truly wonderful place.

But when the first thing you do when you set foot on American soil is illegal it is flat out wrong and I don't care how many la la land left heads come out of the woodwork and start trying to give me sensitivity lessons.

I don't need sensitivity lessons; in fact I don't have any-thing against Mexicans! I just have something against criminals and anybody who comes into this country illegally is a criminal and if you don't believe it try coming into America from a foreign country without a passport and see how far you get. What disturbs me about the demonstrations is that it's tantamount to saying, "I am going to come into your country even if it means breaking your laws and there's nothing you can do about it."

It's an "in your face" action and speaking just for me, I don't like it one little bit and if there were a half dozen pairs of gonads in Washington bigger than English peas it wouldn't be happening.

Where are you, you bunch of lily livered, pantywaist, forked tongued, sorry excuses for defenders of The Constitution? Have you been drinking the water out of the Potomac again? And even if you pass a bill on immigration it will probably be so pork laden and watered down that it won't mean anything anyway Besides, what good is another law going to do when you
won't enforce the ones on the books now?

And what ever happened to the polls, guys? I thought you folks were the quintessential finger wetters. Well you sure ain't paying any attention to the polls this time because somewhere around eighty percent of Americans want something done about this mess, and mess it is and getting bigger every day.

This is no longer a problem; it is a dilemma and headed for being a tragedy. Do you honestly think that what happened in France with the Muslims can't happen here when the businesses who hire these people finally run out of jobs and a few million disillusioned Hispanics take to the streets?

If you, Mr. President, Congressmen and Senators, knuckle under on this and refuse to do something meaningful it means that you care nothing for the kind of country your children and grand-children will inherit. But I guess that doesn't matter as long as you get re-elected. Shame on you! One of the big problems in America today is that if you have the nerve to say anything derogatory about any group of people (except Christians) you are going to be screamed at by the media and called a racist, a bigot and anything else they can think of to call you.

Well I've been pounded by the media before and I'm still rockin' and rollin' and when it comes to speaking the truth I fear not. And the truth is that the gutless, gonadless, milksop politicians are just about to sell out the United States of America because they don't have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to face reality.

And reality is that we would never allow any other group of people to have 12 million illegal in this country and turn around and say, "Oh it's OK, ya'll can stay here if you'll just allow us to slap your wrist."

And I know that some of you who read this column are saying "Well what's wrong with that?" I'll tell you what's wrong with it. These people could be from Mars as far as we know. We don't know who they are, where they are or what they're up to and the way the Congress is going we're not going to.

Does this make sense? Labor force you say? We already subsidize corporate agriculture as it is, must we subsidize their labor as well? If these people were from Haiti, would we be so fast to turn a blind eye to them, or if they were from Somalia or Afghanistan? I think not.

All the media shows us are pictures of hard working Hispanics who have crossed the border just to try to better their life. They don't show you pictures of the Feds rounding up members of MS 13, the violent gang who came across the same way the decent folks did. They don't tell you about the living conditions of the Mexican illegal some fat cat hired to pick his crop.

I want to make two predictions.

No. 1: This situation is going to grow and fester until it erupts in violence on our streets while the wimps in Washington drag their toes in the dirt and try to figure how many tons of political hay they can make to the acre.

No 2: Somebody is going to cross that border with some kind of weapon of mass destruction and set it off in a major American city after which there will be a backlash such as this country has never experienced and the Capitol building in Washington will probably tilt as Congressmen and Senators rush to the other side of the issue.

I don't know about you but I would love to see just one major politician stand up and say, "I don't care who I make mad and I don't care how many votes I lose, this is a desperate situation and I'm going to lead the fight to get it straightened out."
I don't blame anybody for wanting to come to America, but if you don't respect our immigration laws why should we respect you? And by the way, this is America and our flag has stars and stripes. Please get that other one out of my face!

God Bless America

Charlie Daniels

Outsourcing

"How To Hire and Equip Top Notch
Employees In The Philippines, So
You Can Make More Money And Work Less"

What?? Are you kidding me??

I just received this ad for a webinar in an email from one of my network marketing sites. I could not believe they were actually promoting and asking you to hire someone from the Philippines to do your work for you.
I don't support outsourcing. It drives me crazy when I call a support line or company and get someone from another country that I can't understand.

Press 1 for English? If the automated instructions start off in English they should continue in English. If someone needs another language they can press #1 for Spanish. Why do they ask you to press 1 for English if your already speaking English?

Our country is headed for a state (country) of emergency. We can't find work for our own citizens, why would we send our money to another country? There are so many people out of work right now that would gladly work for me and get paid minimum wage, and I can speak to them in English and they will understand everything I have to say.

I'm so disappointed in that company. I'll have to find a replacement for them. :(

Attitude

“Attitude”
By
Charles Swindoll

The longer I live the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than the past, then education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company… a church … or home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We can only change our future and how we handle what we are given today. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only we can do is play on the one sting we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life 10% what happens to me and 90% how we react to it…. and so it is with you. We are in charge of our Attitudes.

No Toilet Paper?

So… I’m doing a favor for a realtor friend of mine by sitting in an empty house (during an open house) so he can run around and do his “realtor” thing. “I should be long”, he says. About 15 minutes into it I feel the need to go visit the little girl’s room.
No biggie, I’ve been to open houses before when my husband and I were looking for a home. I’ll just run upstairs and be back before anyone notices.
I get upstairs to the bathroom, close the door, drop my pants and just as I sit down I notice there’s no toilet paper. Holy crap, what now?
I didn’t have to go that bad so I pulled up my pants and went to another bathroom. Still no toilet paper!
Have you ever noticed that your body knows when it’s close to the bathroom and it’s ready to open the flood gates? Yeah, I’m there, in state of emergency now.
Don’t the realtors know they’re going to be there for a while and think that they might have to go to the bathroom??
I run to the downstairs bathroom praying there’s paper there and … no luck. OMG!!
Wait I have tissue in my car… haha.
On my sprint to the car some looky loos show up and start asking questions. I tell them” I know nothing about the house; I’m just here for a few minutes because the realtor had to step out. There’s information in the house” and I run to my car.
I find the tissue and I tell myself, don’t panic, walk swiftly and nonchalant back into the house so no one will notice that you’re about to pee your pants.
Ignoring the same person that stopped me on way out to my car I slip into the bathroom, quickly drop my pants (Do you know how hard it is undo your belt and unzip your pants when your dancing?)
Finally, I sit down and enjoy the flow…ahhhh. What a relief.
Relaxed and refreshed I get dressed and flush the toilet. Are you kidding me??? There’s no water to flush the toilet?
I just want to scream. I put the toilet seat lid down and leave. Thank goodness the people have left. I had a bottle of water and a empty cup of ice in the car. I put the ice in the sun to melt and once it was water I pour them both in the toilet and flushed.
Note to self; Never agree to stay in an empty house without first checking if there is toilet paper and the water works!

Bottle or Tap?

Bottle or Tap?

Of all the different choices of water available there is only one that must meet the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) standards. Guess which one that is… It’s TAP water.
I love the taste of bottled water, but tap water is actually better for you. Surprised? I sure was. Tap water tastes like shit, but it’s better for you than the chemically cleaned and processed bottled water.
Here in Nevada we meet those standards. We can’t keep our people employed or in houses but we can drink the water!
So, consider this….

To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine...
And those who don't and are always
seen with a bottle of water in their hand.

As Ben Franklin said:
In wine there is wisdom,
In beer there is freedom,
In water there is bacteria.

In a number of carefully controlled trials,
Scientists have demonstrated that if we drink
1 litre of water each day,
At the end of the year we would have absorbed
More than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. Coli) - bacteria
Found in feces.
In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop..

However,
We do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer
(or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor)
Because alcohol has to go through a purification process
Of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember:
Water = Poop,
Wine = Health.
Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid,
Than to drink water and be full of shit.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information:
I'm doing it as a public service!

Men are victims too

I was at the car shop today and I realized something pretty profound. Men are victims too. One of the workers came in all beat up and bandaged and the girl behind the desk ran over to give him a hug and said “Oh Honey… I’m so sorry. You really need to get her help. She needs to go to rehab”. After listening to the conversation for a while I found out that his wife ran him over with his truck when she was drunk. They had gotten into a fight and he didn’t want her to leave. This has been going on for years.
When somebody hears about spousal abuse they automatically think it’s a guy doing the abusing. It’s not as common but it does happen that the abuser is a woman. Most men will fight back though and the woman ends up getting hurt too. But this man today… he loves his wife. She doesn’t do this all the time, just once a month or so this happens. When she’s not drinking she’s the best wife anyone could ask for. But then…
I know from firsthand experience that living with someone who drinks is a very scary thing. Alcohol changes people. Not only for the minute but their body chemistry changes forever if they’ve been drinking long term. They’re mind thinks differently after having the same conversations and fights over and over again. “She’s not going to tell me what I can and can’t do...” or “I’m tired of their whining about shit… I need a drink”, or how about… “I work hard; I deserve to have some fun”. Having fun at the expense of others, especially someone you love (or suppose to love) is not fun; it’s hurtful and very painful.
As a victim of alcohol abuse you need to seek help. If the person doing the drinking is not willing to seek help with you then you have to leave, because at some point there is no turning back. You either end up hating them or they hurt you… permanently. You cannot change a person that does not want to change. You can only change yourself.
If you love them, love them enough to help them, but don’t die or scar yourself for someone that doesn’t care enough to get help to stop the hurt and bad behavior. Sleeping with the enemy is not just a movie. It’s real.
If you think you can’t make it on your own, think again. There are many ways to get help. Someone is out there to help you cope with the problem and turn you in the right direction. Luckily for me I wasn’t physically abused. Mine was mental. Which at times are more harmful than physical. You start to believe the shit they tell you when they’re drunk. “You’re a bitch, you can’t make it without me, and you’re fat and worthless”. Kids go through this all the time and everyone wonders why the kids today are so mean and have no manners.

Being Happy Healthy and Hot after 50

Happy, Healthy and Hot after 50!
Right after my 50th birthday…urrrg!... I made a conscious decision to breakaway from my normal routine (you know, spending too much time with friends or watching movies and not enough with family and my business). I needed to change my attitude and habits. I started eating healthier and I stopped drinking… yep, I did… and I took some very much needed time with  my husband.
What I found was that I am a very hot older woman! I guess I always knew I was “cute”, but looking in the mirror everyday seeing those little lines around my eyes and that chunkiness on my thighs I was far from feeling “hot”. My husband is 11 years younger than me and he told me he married a Playboy model. Isn't he awesome? Anyway... He's been on this health kick for awhile,so I started eating right too. Eating the right things at the right time has made a big difference in how I look and feel.
My friends and family have been amazed at my transformation. Even people I have just met ask me how I keep looking young at 50. So I have decided to help my girlfriends, sisters and daughters be the best they can without having to eat wheat germ and Tofu. Yuck! Double yuck! I'm also pretty good at giving relationship and child rearing advice. So bring it on! I'm ready.
I will be as honest as I possibly can, but be aware, if you ask me a question you must be prepared for the answer because I don’t hold back any punches. I believe that life is too short not to have fun and enjoy the ride. So stand on the edge… you’re taking up too much space!
OK… here’s the deal. We all get the same 24 hours in a day.
It’s how you spend those hours in 2010 that will determine whether or not you have a Happy, Healthy and Hot year.
